A credential is a digital badge for something you did or were recognized for, such as attending an event, finishing a course, completing a quest or being awarded one by a community. You claim it to a wallet so it is yours to keep.
#Find a credential to claim
NotificationsClaim CredentialsOpen Notifications and choose Claim Credentials. The list shows credentials you are eligible to mint. When a community awards you one, you also get a notification that reads "You've been awarded a credential". Open it to go to the credential's page.
#Claim it
Open the credential
Select it in the list or from the notification. The page shows its image, description, attributes and network.
Pick a wallet
If you have no wallet yet, the claim panel offers Create my Hive3 wallet, secured by a passkey on your device, or Connect my own wallet. On networks where Hive3 wallets are not available, only your own wallet is offered. See Wallets.
Fund the claim if asked
Some networks need a small amount of the network's currency. The panel then shows the amount and your wallet address. Use Copy address to add funds, then Check again.
Mint
Select Mint Credential. While it is processing the button reads Claim in progress. A claimed credential shows Already Minted.
A credential cannot be claimed until its setup on the network is confirmed. If the button reads Not Yet Deployed, or the page says claiming opens after setup, try again later. Not Eligible means this credential is not available to your account.
#See your credentials
Claimed credentials appear in the Credentials tab of your account page.
