A wallet holds the credentials you claim and lets you sign in with a wallet if you want to. Hive3 gives you two options: a Hive3 wallet secured by a passkey on your device, or wallets you already own that you link to your account.
SettingsWalletsYou can also reach this section from the Wallets card on your own dashboard.
#Create your Hive3 wallet
Your Hive3 wallet is secured by your device's passkey and lets you claim credentials on Hive3-supported networks. No wallet extension is needed.
Open Wallets
In Settings, choose Wallets. The Hive3 wallet card is at the top.
Create it
Select Create my Hive3 wallet and approve the passkey prompt on your device. A message says Your Hive3 wallet is ready.
If your browser or device cannot create a passkey, the card tells you why and the button stays off. Hive3 wallets also cannot be created on a web address other than Hive3's own.
Once created, the card shows your wallet address, a Default badge when it is your default, and your balances on each network. Select Refresh to update them, and Send beside a network to send funds from the wallet. A send is signed with your passkey, and while one is still settling you can check its status or cancel it.
#Link a wallet you already own
Start linking
Under Linked wallets, select Link a wallet (or Link another wallet).
Choose and sign
Pick your wallet app and approve the request to sign a message. This proves you control the wallet and costs nothing.
A wallet that already signs in to a different Hive3 account cannot be linked here. Hive3 tells you, and you can switch to that account instead. To remove a wallet, select Remove beside it. You cannot remove your only sign-in method.
#Choose a default wallet
Beside any wallet, select Set as default. The default wallet shows a Default badge.
#Control NFT visibility
Under Privacy, Public profile NFT privacy decides whether NFTs from your wallets can appear on your public profile.
- Show NFTs on my public profile is the master switch. When it is off, your NFTs are hidden from your public profile.
- Under Per-wallet public discoverability, switch each wallet on or off. A wallet's NFTs appear only when both the master switch and that wallet's switch are on.
