A job posting tells the Hive3 community about a role you are hiring for. Applicants send a résumé and an optional cover letter through Hive3, and you review every application in one place. The form has two steps.
Who can do this: any account on any plan, and the owner, admins and moderators of a community. Limiting applications to members or subscribers needs a Honey Bee or higher plan. A Worker Bee posting is always public.

My HiveMy DashboardJobsNew JobOpen the dashboard of the account that is hiring and select New Job on the Jobs tab. For a community, open its dashboard first so the posting appears under the community.
The form is titled Create Job Posting. A panel on the right shows your two steps, a preview card, Back and Next buttons and a Drafts menu. Hive3 saves your progress as a draft. Cancel offers Discard draft, Keep editing and Save & exit.
#Basic Info
Add a Job Banner
Optional. Upload a wide image; 1600 × 400 pixels is recommended. It is a good place for your logo or brand.
Enter the Job Title
Required, for example "Senior Blockchain Developer".
Set the Job Location
Enter a city, state or country. Leave it blank for a remote role; the posting then shows Remote.
Choose the Job Type
Required. Select Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Freelance or Internship.
Add a Pay Range, if you want to
Optional. Choose a currency (USD, EUR, GBP or ETH) and enter a Min and a Max.
Write the Job Description
Required. Describe the responsibilities and requirements in the editor, up to 3,000 words, or select Upload Document and choose a PDF or Markdown file.
Choose badges
Up to 5 badges from the suggestions, such as skills or fields.
You cannot move on until the title, the job type and a description or document are in place.
#Job Access
This step is titled Job Access. Choose who can discover and apply.
| Option | Who can apply |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone can view and apply. |
| Members only | Only members or collaborators can view and apply. |
| Subscription | An active subscription is required before applying. |
For Subscription, connect Stripe in Monetize, then pick a plan under Select subscription. If you have none yet, Create subscription takes you to your payment settings. See Get paid.
#Publish
Select Create Job. Hive3 asks Ready to publish?. Choose Create Job to publish, and you land on the job page. When you edit a posting later, the buttons read Update Job and Ready to update?.
#Review applications
From the Jobs tab of your dashboard, open More actions on the posting and select Manage Applications.
The page shows Total Applications, Pending Review, Approved and Rejected counts, and tabs to filter the list: All, Pending, Approved and Rejected.
Read the application
Select the View button for the résumé, which includes the file name, to open it. If the applicant wrote a cover letter, a second View button opens that.
Decide
Select Approve or Reject.
#What applicants see
An applicant selects Apply for Job and fills in a short form: an optional Cover Letter and a required Resume. If an application is rejected, the applicant can apply again, and the form is then titled Reapply for Job.
#Edit, hide or delete
Edit reopens the form as Edit Job Posting. Hide from profile in the More actions menu removes the posting from your public lists and from search without deleting it, and Delete removes it.
#Tips
- Say what the role is in the first sentence of the description. Applicants skim.
- Leave the pay range in when you can. Roles with a stated range are easier to evaluate.
- Use Members only to hire from your own community first.
- Ask applicants to attach everything you need to the résumé, since the application has a single résumé upload.
