Your dashboard

The home base for everything you publish, manage and run as an account or community.

Your dashboard is where you create and manage events, courses, content, jobs, quests and add-ons, check your quest credits and metaverse time, and reach the tools that run your community. Every guide in this section starts here.

Who can do this: every account has a dashboard. For a community, the owner, admins and moderators can open it. Owners and admins also see the money and role tools. Some cards need a Honey Bee or higher plan, as noted below.

#Open your dashboard

My HiveMy Dashboard

Open My Hive in the sidebar and select My Dashboard at the top of the page. You can also open your account menu at the top of the sidebar and choose My Dashboard.

The page is titled Account Dashboard. It has three parts: a row of cards for tools and settings, a set of tabs for the things you have published, and two summary panels for metaverse time and quest credits.

The Account Dashboard.

#Switch to a community you manage

You have one dashboard for your own account and one for every community where you are an owner, admin or moderator. Anything you create from a dashboard is published as the account that dashboard belongs to, so open the right one before you start.

  1. Open Accounts you manage

On your own dashboard, select the Accounts you manage card. The page lists every account where you are an owner, admin or moderator, with your role on each card. If you do not manage any other account, it says You do not manage another account.

  2. Open the community

Select the community's card to open its public page.

  3. Open its dashboard

Select the gear button in the top-right corner of the community's banner. Its label is Dashboard. The button only appears for owners, admins and moderators.

The gear button on a community's page opens its dashboard.

#Manage what you have published

The tabs sit under the heading Manage Events (the heading follows the selected tab). Each tab shows how many items it holds.

Each item shows its banner, title, when you created it and badges such as IRL or Metaverse, Upcoming, Ongoing or Past, and Hidden. Use the buttons on its row:

The More actions menu offers:

  • View Analytics for courses. See Create a course.
  • Manage Enrollment for events, courses and quests, or Manage Applications for jobs. This is where you approve people and review who joined.
  • Hide from profile, which removes the item from your public lists, Discover and search without deleting it. Choose Unhide to bring it back. An event can be hidden once it has finished, a quest once it has ended, and a course with an end date once that date has passed.
  • Notifications on or Notifications off, which turns notifications about that event, course, job or content item on or off for you.
The row buttons and the More actions menu.

#Items that have started are locked

Once an event or a quest starts, you can no longer edit or delete it, and a lock icon appears next to its title. Ended quests are read-only. Plan changes before the start time.

#Check your metaverse time and quest credits

Two panels sit beside the tabs.

  • Metaverse time shows minutes scheduled and leftover for events in shared 3D worlds. See Host in a 3D world.
  • Quest credits shows how many 7 day and 30 day credits you have left and how many active quests you are running. See Create a quest.

Owners and admins also see Buy time and Buy credits buttons. Moderators can use what is in the balance but cannot buy more.

#Open your tools

The cards above the tabs open the rest of your tools. Which cards you see depends on your plan and your role.
