Hive3 has one main navigation, and it works the same way whether you are exploring or running a community. On a computer it is a sidebar on the left. On a phone it is a bar along the bottom with a menu that slides in from the left.
You can browse Discover, Events, Courses, Content, Quests, Jobs and the Honey Marketplace without signing in. Opening My Hive, your account, messages or notifications asks you to sign in or create an account first.
#The sidebar
The sidebar is split into four parts, from top to bottom.
#Your account menu
At the top you see your photo, name and handle. Select it to open a menu with:
- View Account: your public account page.
- My Dashboard: where you publish and manage. See Your dashboard.
- Settings.
- Switch account.
- Log Out.
When you are signed out, this spot shows a Sign In button.

Four icon buttons sit under your name:

#Settings
Settings sits at the bottom. See the Settings overview.
#Home and The Buzz
The home page opens with a welcome banner and Explore Communities, which takes you to the Communities page. Below it, The Buzz is the feed of posts from the communities and accounts you have joined. On a phone, Featured appears as a second tab next to The Buzz. See Posts and the Buzz.
#Discover
Discover is the search page. Type into the Search for anything... field and narrow the results with the tabs All, Communities, Accounts, Events, Courses, Quests and Content. See Discover and join communities.
#My Hive
My Hive is your personal home base. Its description reads "Everything you're part of", and it has a tab for each kind of thing you are part of.
The tabs are Communities, Accounts, Events, Courses, Quests and Jobs. The My Dashboard button in the top corner opens your dashboard.
#On a phone
A floating bar sits at the bottom of the screen with your photo and these icons:

A number on your photo shows unread notifications. The bar hides while you are inside a conversation. Swipe left on the menu, or tap outside it, to close it.
#Switch between accounts
You can link several Hive3 accounts and switch between them without signing out and in by hand.
Open the account menu
Select your name at the top of the sidebar, then Switch account.
Pick an account
The list shows your linked accounts. Select one to sign in as it. Your current account is marked Signed in.
Link another account (optional)
Select Link account, then sign in to the account you want to add. You can switch back at any time from the same list. You can link up to 10 accounts.
Select the X next to an account in the list to remove it from your accounts.
